Monroe: worldwide sales

Great news for Monroe. C21 Media reported last Friday on the recently announced worldwide sales. 

UK hospital drama Monroe has been picked up by 10 broadcasters in a raft of pre-Mipcom sales by ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVSGE). Monroe, greenlit for a second season in the UK by broadcaster ITV1, has been licensed to ABC TV and Universal Channel (both Australia), Baltijos TV (Lithuania), True Visions (Thailand), Sky HD (South Korea), Singtel (Singapore) and NRK (Norway).

Shaw Media (Canada), Prime (New Zealand) and YLE (Finland) have also acquired the show.

“After launching series one of both Vera and Monroe at MIPTV I’m delighted we’ll be heading to Cannes with confirmation that these two fantastic dramas have been commissioned for a second series.
