Curiosity: Norwich news and my thoughts

Toby posted on Facebook that the film will be shown at the Norwich Film Festival!
"Some good news, 'Curiosity' has been selected for the Norwich Film Festival taking place between 18th-25th September 2009."
I was very lucky to see the film at a private screening recently. Here are my thoughts on the film, if you are interested...
Despite much excited anticipation, I was not in the least disappointed. Toby Spanton has created a fabulous, perfectly paced psychological thriller. Although only 10 minutes long, the character driven film manages to incorporate several unsettling, yet entirely believable plot twists, which seem to be inspired by classic Hitchcock thrillers.
While the writing and direction superbly created a tense atmosphere, aided by the evocative score from George Kallis, the characters were given life by the top notch acting throughout.
Fans of Emily Blunt and Tom Riley should be very satisfied with this film; as both actors appear to be at the top of their game, and the film manages to showcase their talents perfectly.
Emily as Emma embodies the trapped observer, helpless to change the horrible events unfolding in front of her. Tom as Mike encapsulates the resourceful, concerned neighbour, at once loving and reassuring, yet unwittingly about to encounter something unimaginable, which the viewer realises with mounting dread.
I really hope that this film can be viewed by many more people and look forward to seeing more from all involved in this.
I must say a special thank you for Tom’s tight t-shirt, some amazing shots of him in the film and the passing glimpse of wrist nonsense on the bedside table!

How cool! Was it gory? Did Toby say when will 'Curiosity' be released on DVD in the United Kingdom? How were the reviews from the Edinburgh International Film Festival?
It wasn't gory as such. Just brilliant! No idea about reviews or DVD unfortunately. Keep your fingers crossed.
Eight months ago, Toby said 'Curiosity' will be released sometime next year... God, I cannot wait!
