Welcome to an unofficial website dedicated to the considerable talents of versatile British actor Tom Riley, who has received critical acclaim for his television and stage roles. Most recently seen on stage as Richard Kenton at the Almeida Theatre in the world premiere of the Stephen Poliakoff play My City, Tom was nominated as Outstanding Featured Actor In A Play at the 2011 Drama Desk Awards for his role as Septimus Hodge in Arcadia on Broadway. 

Tom is perhaps best known for his television roles - as Lawrence Shepherd in ITV's Monroe, as Gavin Sorensen in ITV's  Bouquet Of Barbed Wire, and as Mr Wickham in ITV's Lost In Austen. Other notable television appearances include Poirot: Appointment With Death as Raymond Boynton, and Lewis: And The Moonbeams Kiss The Sea as Philip Horton.

Romeo in St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold, and Freddie Butler in Happy Ever Afters are just two of Tom's most recent film roles; while Close and Curiosity are two short films which are being shown at various film festivals and screenings.

Tom's other theatre credits include numerous productions at the Royal Court Theatre, and the Riverside Studios' 2010 world premiere of Hurts Given and Received by Howard Barker. For this he received outstanding reviews, and a nomination for best performance in the new Off West End Theatre Awards. 

Series two of Monroe began filming in Leeds on 8th January 2012. Tom will next be filming the lead role as Leonardo Da Vinci in new Starz drama series Da Vinci's Demons. Further details of Tom's career can be found elsewhere on the site.
