Ill Behaviour: BBC iPlayer launch date revealed as 22nd July 2017

The BBC Press Office has posted BBC iPlayer launch details for Tom Riley's exciting new show Ill Behaviour. The 3 part comedy drama will be available on BBC iPlayer from 10 am on Saturday 22nd July!! Ill Behaviour will also be broadcast on BBC 2 in August.

Two lovely new photos of Tom as Charlie have been shared on the Press Office website along with a synopsis for each episode. They are a tiny bit spoilerish, so I will share the first episode synopsis below, and let you find more details via links to episode 2 here and episode 3 here. No new photos of Lizzy Caplan as Nadia have been shared yet.

When Joel (Chris Geere, pictured) gets divorced it brings him a £2 million settlement and reunites him with his best friends from sixth form - New Age Charlie (Tom Riley) and IT nerd Tess (Jessica Regan).

Charlie in particular is a crutch for Joel, and gets him dating again. On his first date he meets a sexy and unpredictable doctor, Nadia (Lizzy Caplan). But just as Joel has reconnected with his friends he discovers that Charlie has been diagnosed with cancer - Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. And he’s horrified to learn that he is refusing chemotherapy.

Joel recruits Tess and Nadia to try and persuade Charlie to change his mind, but to no avail. Refusing to give up, Joel uses his "dirty divorce money" to rent a remote country house and buy black-market chemotherapy drugs. He enlists Tess to join him in kidnapping Charlie and sedating him while they administer the chemo. However doing so is not quite as easy as they hoped, and Joel decides to hire Nadia to stay with them as their live-in doctor.

All is going to plan - until Charlie tries to escape.
