A new interview with Tom, and the rest of the Da Vinci's Demons team, in Cardiff last Tuesday, has been uploaded by South West Evening Post. They all chat about returning to Swansea later this month.

NB: David S. Goyer is the creator and showrunner for seasons 1 and 2 of Da Vinci's Demons, not only the director (he directed a just a few episodes). Also, I am guessing that Tom said Pembrokeshire and Cornwall for season 2 locations, not Cardiff.

THE stars of Da Vinci's Demons say they are looking forward to heading back to Swansea Bay for the start of filming series three. The cameras are set to roll on the next installment of the top historical fantasy, which is packed with twists and turns and political intrigue, on June 23.

Tom Riley, who plays the young da Vinci in the show, which is directed by Hollywood scriptwriter David S. Goyer, said the new series would be as action packed as ever. At a special screening of the show in Cardiff, Tom said: "All I will say is I feel that all of season two has been an upward trajectory. "We are going to continue that upward trajectory in season three.

"We are going to be filming on June 23 until the end of December and will experience the Swansea Winter Wonderland."

He said he enjoyed working with the cast and crew on the programme. Tom added: "It's a twisty show and the reaction we have got from the finale was 100 tweets a day. "It sounds trite but I enjoy working with the cast and crew on the show.

"There are a lot of locations and more places to explore, we also went to Pembrokeshire and Cardiff in the last series."

Some recent interesting tweets from one of the new writers for Da Vinci's Demons season 3.
