Writer and director Toby Spanton sent some news updates to the Facebook group.
It's been a great week for 'Curiosity'. This week the film is the 4th most popular horror short film on the IMDb! It is more popular than Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' and the original short that 'Saw' was based on.
The programme for the British Short Film Festival in Berlin where 'Curiosity' is screening is now online. You can see it here.
The film will be screened at midnight on Saturday 16th January. It opens the festival's Midnight Movies section of horror/thriller related films. If you happen to be in Berlin or know someone that is then should check it out.
Curiosity and Close now have their own sections on the new Pollibee Pictures website which is now live.
Pollibee Pictures, who produced both of Tom's short films, Curiosity and Close, now have a a Facebook page.
There is information on the page about films they have produced, and includes a photo album of stills from Close, with lots of great photos of Tom as Rob.
Curiosity director Toby Spanton posted some great news on the Facebook site.
A little good news just in time for Christmas. 'Curiosity' has been selected for the 3rd British Short Film Festival in Berlin.
The festival runs from January 15th-18th and the film has already appeared in their online publicity. You can see a write up on the festival's website at the following link: http://www.sputnik-kino.com/index.cfm?id=1164&as=14145
The page includes a link to a PDF detailing the films selected and a still from 'Curiosity'. I don't yet know the date it will be shown but if anyone happens to be in Berlin during the festival pop in and have a look!
Thank you to the site visitor who alerted us. Actor James Payton has uploaded a showreel to You Tube, which contains a few scenes from Curiosity that we haven't seen before.
