As previously announced, this year's Comic Con will be held online, and the event organisers have started to reveal the panel schedule. For potential fans of HBO's The Nevers (Tom Riley plays Augustus Bidlow), there is exciting news. Show runner and creator, Joss Whedon will have his own panel on Friday 24th July at 5pm PST.

Fantastic news! Tom Riley's directorial debut film The Toll Road will finally be available to watch online from 8th July 2020! WeVe TV will screen the short film starring Lizzy Caplan and Martin Starr, and fans just need to subscribe to the site for a free trial. A new interview with James Norton, promoting his new film Mr Jones, also mentions his role in The Nevers. Speaking to Collider, James reveals that the Joss Whedon series for HBO has a comedic element which I assume will be familiar to fans of Da Vinci's Demons. Read the interview in full on Collider.

Tom Riley's next project, HBO's 10 episode drama series The Nevers, has been on hiatus since the Covid 19 lockdown was announced in the UK. Obviously everyone in the industry (as well as we fans) is hoping that TV and film production can get started again.

A recent article by Screen Daily revealed that the UK film and television industry could soon resume work, which would be fantastic news for Tom Riley fans. The Nevers, created by Joss Whedon, shut down production in March 2020 probably about half way through shooting the 10 episode series.

Tom Riley on Instagram recently promoted US company Yumi, which is supporting the Rainbows In Windows initiative to help needy families in America. Check out more details on Tom's instagram.

For each rainbow posted, tagging @yumi or #rainbowsinwindows, @yumi will donate a month’s worth of food to @feedingamerica to help families in need.

The Toll Road short film, directed by Tom Riley, needs an online streaming service. Apparently if it is hosted on Vimeo or You Tube, they will run into music rights issues, so the team behind the film are looking for a recognised streaming service to help. Details below and on Instagram.

Photographer Matt Sprake has shared 2 photos from the set of HBO's The Nevers on Instagram. There is no indication of where they were taken, though we know that The Nevers, created by Joss Whedon, has been filming in and around London, and will do until summer 2020. HBO announced that the show would be broadcast in 2021. Tom Riley's character in the show is Augustus Bidlow, though very little news has been shared online about the characters.
